Hi Toni,
I live in Germany and here the stuff is called "Blitzkleber" which can be
best translated by "flash bounder". It comes in tiny packages of 3 grams and
is quite dangerous because it glues everything together within seconds.
What matters is that it sticks on glass. For best adhesion sandpaper the
glass a bit, apply the glue, press for 2 seconds (DON'T use your bare
fingers for that!! Use plastic gloves), and your problem will be solved.

cyano acrylate is the generic word for what is usually marketed as
"SuperGlue". There are many manufacturers and marketers. Henkel is a
German company that makes excellent products. In the US, Devcon is a
great brand. There are several others. Most hobby shops, the kind that
sell model airplane kits, have a wide range to choose from. It comes in
different thicknesses, from watery to gel. Also, fishing stores sell it
as "fishermans glue". You can buy it online from hundreds of places. It
is cheap.

It WILL bond your skin together in one second. There is also a
"debonder" product available, that will dissolve it, so for safety it
might be worth picking up a little bottle of that. There are also
"primers" and "accelerators" for cyanoacrylate. Caution, if you use an
accelerator, the chemical reaction can get VERY hot, and you can burn
your skin. I've done it. I worked with cyano every day for seven years
in a past job.
